“Our Dad, originally from Campbellford, returned home after being away for nearly 50 years and moved into Island Park. At 91, he's renewing old friendships, making new acquaintances and generally enjoying life in his new home far more than we ever expected. Social activities offer as much or as little as residents desire. Dad even tried haggis for the first time on Robbie Burns Day - and enjoyed it. The move has been positive not only for him but for my brother and I as we know he's been cared for by exceptionally qualified and attentive staff, many of whom are related to people he knows in the area. I hope I find myself in such a wonderful environment when I'm in my 90s.”
